Aluminium Alloy

2000 Series Alloy mostly used in:

Screw manufacturing, aviation body, truck skeleton, plastic mould and forging cylinder head

6000 Series Alloy mostly used in:

Doors and windows, furniture, building decoration with rods and lines, mechanical parts, road vehicles, cutting processing materials

6061 Fe content is high, so the hardness is large. Suitable for industrial materials.

6463 Mg content is higher, so beautiful gloss is high.

The 6063 Cu content is highe, so the conductivity is high. The size of copper content will directly affect the conductivity of the good or bad, and heat dissipation effect.

7000 Series Alloy:

High-strength weld structure, truck body, railway vehicle, refrigeration equipment, aircraft structure, national defense parts

Others (1000 series, 3000 series, 4000 series, 5000 series, 8000 series):

Metal and electrical equipment such as sheet metal and food equipment

Aluminum Extrusion Principle & Use

A)processing principle:

The aluminum ingot, which is softened by high temperature, flows through the aluminum extrusion mold under the strong extrusion of the aluminum extruder, forming the aluminum profile product that conforms to the requirement shape.

B)Aluminum extrusion uses and examples:

Aluminum Extrusion Design Considerations:

<1> Tolerance formulation to fully consider the production capacity of manufacturers, because aluminum extrusion is in the hot-pressing condition molding out of the mold, product tolerances relative to the plastic parts, metal parts to be large.

<2> Material thickness is not too thin, in principle to 0.8mm above, less deformation, squeeze the situation is better, there is a quantity of production.

<3> Hollow Tube Thickness difference can not be too large, generally not greater than 4 times times, otherwise the mold is difficult to trim and squeeze.

<4> Before formally opening the mold, must provide the detailed surface craft effect, because the surface treatment process affects the early extrusion mold line The determination, affects the extrusion mold, metal die die size of the value (injection will make the product size smaller, the shape becomes larger, the lumen becomes narrower, while the oxidation is the reverse; sandblasting can cause the product aperture to become larger, the body thin, or lead to product deformation; drawing process to consider the material to leave the margin)

<5> Extruded materials do not have the absolute sharp angle, the design of the sharp angle edge line aluminum profiles will have about 0.3 of the R-Angle, after the subsequent polishing, oxidation, fuel injection process, r angle will reach about 0.4.

<6> Aluminum extruded Hollow and solid parts of the proportion should not be too wide, or offset too large, depending on the actual structure.
